The CAC program helps students with IIT writing requirements from admission to graduation: the entrance essay (basic writing proficiency), Introduction to the Profession courses (ITPs), writing-intensive classes (C-courses), and interprofessional projects (IPROs).

Help with writing tasks includes the CAC's online instructional materials, one-to-one conferencing with tutors in the IIT Writing Center (Siegel Hall 232), and special writing courses. At the Writing Center, assistance is available for nonnative speakers of English.

For tutoring in math, engineering, and other fields, contact the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at (312) 567-5216.
